Working for You
Southern California Edison recognizes that many of our customers are facing challenges in the current economic environment.
Here’s how SCE is working to lower your energy bills

Providing you with more control over your bills with rate plan options, energy-saving programs (like the Smart Energy Program), rebates and incentives (such as Golden State Rebates) and tips for reducing energy use in homes and businesses.

Offering a range of options to support you, including 30-day payment extensions, monthly installment plans for past-due balances, one-time grants and monthly bill discounts and debt forgiveness programs for income-qualified customers.

SCE’s participation in California’s Greenhouse Gas Cap and Trade Program results in credits on your bills twice each year (In 2023, $142 total for each eligible customer); As part of the California Arrearage Payment Program, SCE also disbursed $205 million in energy debt relief to qualifying customers in 2022 and will disburse another $218 million in 2023.
