If you are an SCE customer and you are interested in increasing the reliability of your electric service, you may be able to receive an incentive towards the purchase of an energy storage (battery) system. Please visit SCE’s Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) for more information about energy storage and available incentives.

Customers who install a renewable generating system, such as solar or wind, may be eligible for the Solar Billing Plan. If you generate more electricity than you use, the excess will flow back to the grid, and you will be compensated for energy exported to the grid based on a calculated hourly electricity price. These hourly prices will be derived from the latest CPUC-approved Avoided Cost Calculator and vary by month, weekday, and weekend.
