SCE Edison International Lineworker Scholarship

In 2021, Edison International and Southern California Edison launched the Lineworker Scholarship Program, in partnership with IBEW Local 47, to provide opportunities for a diverse range of people to become SCE lineworkers. The program awards scholarships up to $25,000 per recipient and is funded by Edison International shareholders and IBEW Local 47. The program provides tuition, tools and support services needed to complete required training at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College.

Edison Scholarship 

The Edison Scholars Program celebrates aspiring visionaries who are poised to shape our future. In the year 2024, Edison International will bestow $50,000 college scholarships upon 30 exceptional high school seniors. These scholarships are designed to fuel their passions in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), empowering them to ignite transformative change across the globe.

Climate Resolve Grant Writing Instruction

Since 2020, Climate Resolve’s Ready for Tomorrow program has provided grant writing services to communities in Los Angeles County and Inland Southern California: the cities of Compton, Commerce, Rialto, Moreno Valley, San Fernando, South El Monte, and Blythe; the Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG); the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians; as well as nonprofit organizations such as Nature for All, Center for Sustainable Communities – Compton, and the United States Green Building Council of Los Angeles (USGBC-LA).
