What is the grace period if my payment is late?
Your bill is due and payable on the date the bill was generated and is considered past due if not paid within 19 days. Your service will remain active up to the date your next bill is due, but we disconnect service if payment isn’t received by that next due date.
When will my service be reconnected after paying past-due balance?
Your service will be restored the same day, if we receive your payment by 7 p.m. Monday - Friday or 12 p.m. on Saturday. Any payment made after those times will be processed the next business day.

Payments Are Pending While They Are Processed
A payment is pending when a payment has been made and it is being processed.
When you make a payment, it will be posted immediately to your Customer Account. You are also able to edit your payment by 6 p.m. the same day and make multiple online payments in one day on My Account.
Log in or Register for My AccountWhy does my account show no payment due or a negative balance?
If you have a negative balance, it means you have a credit on your account from either overpayment or credit from us back to your account. This credit will be applied to your next bill.
Can I change my bill's due date?
To change your bill’s due date, enroll online at sce.com/choose-due-date. The change usually takes effect on the following month’s bill (it may take two months).
You will need your Contract Account Number, which starts with a "7" and can be found on the upper left of the front of your bill, below the SCE logo.
