Does SCE have a way to notify me when they turn off my air conditioner?
Yes, SCE’s DR Alert App allows you to receive customized alerts right on your smartphone. You can choose to receive notifications when a Summer Discount Plan event is scheduled, when the event starts, when the event ends or all three. The SCE DR Alert app is available for free download at the App Store or Google Play for your Apple (iOS 9.3.5 or later) or Android (6.0.1 or later) mobile device.
Past Due Account Balances
SCE suspended its collection and service disconnections for nonpayment in March 2020 in response to Gov. Newsom’s statewide emergency declaration regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. These protections have since expired and we have resumed pre-pandemic collection processes — including service disconnections for nonpayment.
Can I use a digital wallet to set up Auto Pay?
No. At this time, you can only set up Auto Pay with your checking account within My Account.
Can I use a digital wallet as my default payment method?
Yes. When you add a digital wallet to your account through the JP Morgan Chase processing system, you may set it as your default payment method.

Why do I need to pay a convenience fee?
The convenience fee is charged by JP Morgan Chase for the use of their secure payment processing system and applies to all digital wallet, credit card, and debit card payments. SCE does not receive or benefit from the fee. The fee cannot be waived.

Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
I am currently on Auto Pay. How can I stop a payment?
With Auto Pay, you may stop a payment up to two business days before your auto pay is scheduled by calling 1-800-655-4555.
