Câu hỏi thường gặp

FAQ

No, only account holders are eligible.

CCA customers within SCE’s service area can use these new Electricity Usage and Rates features in the Apple Home app.

No, this scenario is currently not supported.

You need to have the latest software installed to access these features.

These are the minimum OS requirements, as applicable:

  • iPhone: iOS 27
  • Apple Watch: watchOS 27
  • iPad: iPadOS 27
  • Mac: macOS 27

Check your device for available software updates and make sure the minimum software version is installed before using these features.

To connect your SCE account to the Apple Home app, you must have an eligible Apple device (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Mac) with iOS 27, iPadOS 27 or macOS 27 installed.

Visit Apple’s iPhone User Guide to see the latest steps on connecting your utility account to the Home app.

There are two ways to connect your utility account to the Apple Home app.

You can connect to the app by providing the account holder’s name and service address as shown on your SCE bill, along with your email and/or phone number that is on file. This option doesn't require your SCE login credentials.

The second option is to log in to the Apple Home app using your SCE account username and password (the same credentials you use when signing in to your account on SCE’s website).

If you would like to register for an SCE online account, go to sce.com/user-registration and select “New Customer.”

If you need password assistance, please visit sce.com/mysce/resetpassword.

If you would like to create an SCE account, please visit sce.com/user-registration and select “New Customer.”

SCE shares electricity usage and rate information with the Apple Home app only after an eligible account is connected. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy page for more information.

No, there is no impact on your SCE account for using the Apple Home app.

You can connect your utility account for multiple homes as long as each home is eligible. You have to add a new home for each additional address within the Apple Home app and then connect your utility credentials separately for each home. Please refer to the Getting Started section for more information on how to connect your account.

You may disconnect your SCE account from the Apple Home app in the application settings at any time by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the Home app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the Home tab, tapthe More button button, then tap Home Settings.
  3. Tap Energy, then tap your linked electricity account.
  4. Tap Disconnect Account.

Read more in the iPhone User Guide under “Disconnect your account from electricity usage and rate information.”

The Grid Forecast feature helps you to see when cleaner electricity is available in your area. This feature is provided directly by Apple, not by SCE.

Read more about the Grid Forecast feature in the Apple Home app.

You can view your rate plan in the Apple Home app. If you are on a TOU rate plan, the app can also show you usage information for each peak period on your rate plan.

Get more information on SCE rates.

Please note: The “mid-peak” information is currently displayed as “partial peak” in the Apple Home app. Apple will be updating this label from “partial peak” to “mid-peak.” This update will be made in a future software update.

Once your SCE account is connected, up to two years of historical usage data will sync to the Apple Home app.

Typically, this initial connection should take a few minutes, but could take between 24-72 hours to populate in certain instances. You can continue using the Apple Home app while the data populates.

If your usage data is still not available after 48 hours, please contact SCE Customer Service for assistance.

Electricity data is provided by SCE and is typically available in the Apple Home app 24-72 hours after electricity usage occurs.

You can view up to 24 months of historical usage data, if available for your account.

In the Apple Home app, usage data is shown in calendar months, which may not be the same as your SCE monthly billing cycle.

Note: Due to rounding logic done by Apple, there may be very slight differences between usage data values observed on your SCE.com MyAccount and the usage data observed in the Apple Home app.
