I just connected my SCE account in the Apple Home app, but I don't see any data in the app. What should I do?
Once your SCE account is connected, up to two years of historical usage data will sync to the Apple Home app.
Typically, this initial connection should take a few minutes, but could take up to 24 to 72 hours to populate in certain instances. You can continue using the Apple Home app while the data populates.
If your usage data is still not available after 48 hours, please contact SCE Customer Service for assistance.
Can I see what SCE rate I am on?
You can view your rate plan in the Apple Home app. If you are on a TOU rate plan, the app can also show you usage information for each peak period on your rate plan.
Get more information on SCE rates.
Please note: The “mid-peak” information is currently displayed as “partial peak” in the Apple Home app. Apple will be updating this label from “partial peak” to “mid-peak.” This update will be made in a future software update.
Is this feature related to the current Grid Forecast feature in the Apple Home app?
The Grid Forecast feature helps you to see when cleaner electricity is available in your area. This feature is provided directly by Apple, not by SCE.

What if I have multiple homes?
You can connect your utility account for multiple homes as long as each home is eligible. You have to add a new home for each additional address within the Apple Home app and then connect your utility credentials separately for each home. Please refer to the Getting Started section for more information on how to connect your account.
Is my SCE account affected in any way if I use this feature?
No, there is no impact on your SCE account for using the Apple Home app.
How does SCE share my data with the Apple Home app? And how does Apple maintain my data privacy?
SCE shares electricity usage and rate information with the Apple Home app only after an eligible account is connected. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy page for more information.
Do I have to pay to use the Apple Home app?
This feature is free and included in the Apple Home app as part of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and macOS.

There are two ways to connect your utility account to the Apple Home app.
You can connect to the app by providing the account holder’s name and service address as shown on your SCE bill, along with your email and/or phone number that is on file. This option doesn't require your SCE login credentials.
The second option is to log in to the Apple Home app using your SCE account username and password (the same credentials you use when signing in to your account on SCE’s website).
If you would like to register for an SCE online account, go to sce.com/user-registration and select “New Customer.”
