What’s new in My Account?

 

SCE has introduced a new and improved My Account experience for customers based on their account type. In this help article, we will guide you through the new navigation and features, designed to make managing your account easier than ever.

Navigation

The navigation menu has been moved from the left side of the screen to the top of the dashboard. When applicable, alerts specific to your account will be displayed below the navigation.

  • My Account – Personalized dashboard providing quick access to view your account balance, make a payment, billing history and more.
  • Usage - View hourly, daily and monthly graphs to monitor your energy consumption.
  • Settings - Manage billing preferences, payment methods, notifications & contact information.

 

Selecting “More” from the navigation will display additional menu items:

  • Start or Stop Service
  • Access Data Sharing and Download
  • Access Energy Manager and Mobile Home Park
  • Report an Outage
  • View an Outage Map
     

Account Selection

If you have between 1-10 service accounts, you will find a dropdown menu to select from your account list below the account balance card. The following information will be updated on your dashboard based on the service account selected:

  • Usage Comparison
  • Projected Next Bill
  • Alerts & Notifications
  • Rate Plan
  • Savings Programs

Inactive and Pending Accounts will also be available in this dropdown menu.

Usage Comparison

This feature is designed to empower you with a deeper understanding of your energy consumption patterns, enabling you to make more informed decisions and manage your utility usage effectively.

  • Visualize Your Usage: With the Usage Comparison feature, you can easily visualize your energy consumption. This is presented in an intuitive chart format, making it simple to grasp your usage trends.
  • Compare Periods: The tool allows you to compare your recently billed usage with historical data. This means you can see how your consumption has changed over time, comparing your most recent bill with the same time last year or month.
  • Identify Trends: By comparing your energy usage, you can quickly identify trends and patterns. This insight can help you adjust your consumption habits to save energy costs.

The Usage Comparison feature is a valuable tool for our customers, providing insights that can lead to better energy management and cost savings. It's just one of the ways we're committed to enhancing your experience with our services.


Projected Next Bill

Stay prepared and in control. The Projected Next Bill module shares an estimate of your upcoming bill based on your usage, helping you plan with ease. If desired, set seasonal spending goals and monitor your progress using the feature. Clicking “View Current Usage” will allow you to view daily and hourly graphs for the electricity you have used since your last billing cycle.

View your current rate plan information and access our rate plan comparison tool.

Clicking “Compare Rate Plans” provides quick access to SCE’s Rate Plan Comparison Tool. Use the Rate Plan Comparison Tool to view a personalized comparison between your current plan and other plan options, get estimates based on your past usage and switch to a new plan if desired.

Access personalized FAQs based on your account type, billing/payment settings and program enrollments. You can find this tool listed under Billing & Payment Options on your dashboard.
