What Is the New Program Design Pilots (NPDP) Program?
Southern California Edison (SCE) is looking for innovative pilot programs to test new energy efficiency (EE) designs using existing EE measures (excluding emerging technology). The goal is to achieve near-term Total System Benefit (TSB) savings.
SCE will periodically release Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with specific pilot objectives. Interested parties can submit proposals for evaluation and potential selection.
How It Works:
- Pilot Duration: Each pilot runs for one year.
- Path to Expansion: If successful, pilots may transition into larger third-party resource acquisition or equity programs.
