2018 Aliso Canyon Energy Storage 2 Request for Offers (“ACES 2 RFO”)

Updated 12/7/2018

SCE is launching the ACES 2 RFO in response to Senate Bill 801, which directed SCE to solicit for a minimum aggregate 20 MW of cost-effective energy storage resources to help address electrical system operational limitations resulting from reduced gas deliverability caused by the partial shutdown of the Aliso Canyon natural gas storage facility.

Complete requirements to participate and a schedule of required submittals are contained in the RFO Instructions.

SCE reserves the right to revise this RFO Schedule at any time and in SCE's sole discretion. Respondents are responsible for monitoring the RFO Website for updates and possible amendments to the RFO, the RFO Instructions, or the solicitation process.
