How will I know if the device registration request worked?

Most devices will display an indicator showing they are registered. If your device displays energy usage information, this confirms it is connected to the SCE smart meter (many devices receive energy usage from the meter every 30 seconds or more frequently). You can also visit My Account and click on the Device Registration tab.
