Why you may not be able to access SCE.com from outside the U.S.
To protect our customers’ information and the security of our systems, SCE limits access to some parts of SCE.com from certain locations outside the United States. If you need to manage your account while traveling, please consider setting up Auto Pay or using your bank’s online bill pay service before your trip.
자주 묻는 질문
FAQ
To reduce the risk of fraud and unauthorized access to customer accounts, we restrict access from certain locations outside the United States. We review these protections regularly as part of our security program. (We intentionally avoid listing countries or technical controls.)
- Set up Auto Pay (Direct Pay) so your bill is paid automatically each month. Consider enrolling before you travel.
- Use your bank’s online bill pay (EFT/home banking) to send payments to SCE; many banks let you schedule payments in advance.
- Business customers: You may also be able to pay via EDI/ACH/EFT with remittance details through your financial institution.
For your security and ours, we don’t recommend using tools intended to disguise your location. If you’re traveling, please use the payment options above or manage your account when you return.
If you didn’t set up Auto Pay or bank bill pay before leaving, check whether your bank can issue a one-time payment to SCE on your behalf. If it’s not urgent, you can manage your account when you’re back in the U.S.
