How to Clear Cache

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for clearing cache in Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox browsers.  

Note: Make sure your browser versions are up to date. If they aren’t, please download the most recent version.

Steps to clear cache in Microsoft Edge

1. Open Microsoft Edge
2. Click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
3. Select "Settings"
   
4. Go to "Privacy, search, and services"
5. Click on "Clear browsing data"
   
6. Click "Choose what to clear"
   
7. Select “All Time” from the Time range option
   
8. Select "Cached images and files" and click "Clear now". 
   
9. Close the browser window
10. Re-open the browser and login to SCE.com
     

Steps to clear cache in Google Chrome

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
3. Select "Settings"
   
4. Go to "Privacy and Security"
5. Click "Delete browsing data"
   
6. Select “All time” from the More option
7. Select "Cached images and files" option and click "Delete from this Device"
   
8. Close the browser window
9. Re-open the browser and login to SCE.com

Steps to clear cache in Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Mozilla Firefox
2. Click on the three-line menu in the top-right corner
3. Select "Settings”
   
4. Go to "Privacy & Security"
5. Scroll down and click "Clear browsing data"
   
6. Select ‘Everything’ from the When option
   
7. Select "Temporary cached files and pages" and click "Clear"
   
8. Close the browser window
9. Re-open the browser and login to SCE.com
