Customer Information Service Request (CISR) Fee FAQ
CISR Form 14-796 (CISR Form) is used to authorize a third-party to receive customer information or to act on a customer’s behalf for certain transactions. This form is designed to protect the privacy rights of SCE customers; therefore, this form must be completed in its entirety by the SCE customer and the agent. Any alterations to the CISR Form after it has been executed by the SCE customer will render the CISR Form null and void. Download the latest version of the form here.
Effective January 2, 2025, fees will apply to requests using CISR Form 14-796 (CISR Form). These fees will be charged to the authorized third-party (agent) according to CPUC approved tariff schedules: Schedule CISR-SF; Schedule ESP-DSF
; and Schedule CCA-INFO
. For each CISR Form submission, there will be a $2.10 CISR base processing fee. For CISR Option 1-8 (on CISR Form 14-796) fulfillment, fees range from $4.30-$25.00 per service account. Additionally, for CISR Option 1 on CISR Form 14-796, there is no charge for the first two fulfillments in a 12-month period per service account. See the chart below.

The CPUC approved CISR fees for SCE to recover the costs of providing CISR services.
For authorized third-parties using CISR Form 14-796 other than ESP and CCA entities, an invoice will be issued within 30 days of a CISR request processing. Invoices will be sent to the third-party agent mailing address listed in the CISR Form. After the initial invoice, the third-party will continue to receive monthly invoices showing their current balance. For ESP and CCA entities, billing will occur automatically through monthly supplier invoices through current processes.

If the third-party agent mailing address listed in the CISR Form needs to be updated, the third-party agent may email the 3rd Party Authorizations inbox at 3rdparty@sce.com.

Typically, within 10 business days. If there are errors in the form, your request will be rejected, and a corrected form must be submitted. Resubmissions will be processed within 10 business days.
No. Prior versions of the form are invalid and will be rejected. Download the latest version of the form here.
There is no limit. If additional space is needed, please include the additional accounts in an Excel attachment, which is the preferred method by the 3rd Party Authorizations inbox.
Any alterations to the CISR Form after it has been executed by the SCE customer will render the CISR Form null and void. A new CISR Form must be submitted to add a new service account(s).
Yes, until the existing CISR Form expires, based on the authorized term selected (up to 3 years from the customer signature date). However, fulfillment service fees may apply.
Non-interval usage data relates to CISR Options 1-4 and 8 (e.g., billing history, benchmarking, and NEM existing solar equipment information). Refer to CISR Form 14-796.
No. Customer bill copies cannot be requested through the 3rd Party Authorizations inbox at 3rdparty@sce.com. Third-parties may work with customers to download a copy via My Account.
