June 2013 Rate Changes

Effective June 1, 2013, the following Southern California Edison (SCE) rate factors increased:

  • The Distribution Charge will decrease for all rates; except for PA-2, GS-2, TOU-8 (above 50kV), TOU-Standby (Option B and RTP), TOU-GS-1 and 2 (Option B and RTP), which will increase.
  • The Distribution charge for the Customer Charge - $/Daily will increase for TC-1.
  • The Total Delivery Charge will increase for various Domestic Medical Baseline and TOU rate options.

Effective June 1, 2013, the following SCE rate factors decreased:

  • The Distribution charge for the Customer Charge - $/month, will decrease for PA-1 and PA-2.
  • The Monthly Charge for TOU-GS-1 (Option B) will decrease.
  • The Public Purpose Programs Charge (PPPC) will decrease for the TOU-PA-2, TOU-PA-2 (Option SOP-2), TOU-PA-3 (Option A), TOU-PA-3 (Option B), TOU-PA-3 (Option SOP-1), TOU-PA-3 (Option SOP-2).
  • The Utility Regulated Generation (URG) will decrease, based on tiered structure, for all domestic rates, TOU-GS-1 (Option B), TOU-GS-2 (Option A and B), TOU-GS-3 (Option A and B), TOU-8- Standby (Option A and B Above 50kV).
  • The SCE Generation Charge will decrease for EV-1, PA-TOU 8-Option A (Above 50kV).
  • The Total Delivery Charge (Voltage Discount and Facilities Related Charge) will decrease for GS-1 (Option B and RTP), GS-2 (Option A, B, and R), TOU-GS-1, TOU-EV-1, TOU-GS-3 (Option A, B and R), TOU-8-RTP.
  • TOU-D-1 and TOU-D-2 rate schedules were replaced with TOU-D-T

Effective June 1, 2013, the following SCE rate factors changed (increased or decreased, based on tiered rate structure):

  • The Utility Regulated Generation (URG) will decrease, based on tiered structure, for all domestic rates, TOU-GS-1 (Option B), TOU-GS-2 (Option A and B), TOU-GS-3 (Option A and B), TOU-8- Standby (Option A and B Above 50kV).
  • The Conservation Incentive Adjustment (CIA) decreased for all domestic tiered rates, TOU-DT, and TOU- TEV.
  • The Transmission Owner Tariff Change Adjustment (TOTCA) increased for all rates based on tier structures.

The actual impact of these rate factor changes on customers’ bills will vary based on energy usage.
