SCE Facility Map Requests
The Map Sales Team processes third-party requests for Southern California Edison (SCE) Facility Maps. These maps provide planning-level information showing the approximate locations of SCE’s overhead and underground electrical facilities. Facility Maps are provided for reference purposes only and are not intended to serve as legal representations of property boundaries or real estate ownership.
Pricing Notice
Effective January 1, 2023, Facility Maps are available to paying customers at a cost of $40.00 per map (page).
Step 1: Submit a Map Request
Please complete the Facility Map Request Form and attach a clearly marked Google Map or Assessor’s Map showing the requested area. The preferred file format is Google Earth Pro (.KMZ). Shapefile or ESRI GDB are also acceptable. You may also submit a marked-up map image clearly outlining your specific area, making sure an address or cross streets are also visible. Once submitted, you can use the form portal to check the status of your request.

There are known areas outside of this boundary where SCE assets are present. Therefore, if your project has identified any SCE infrastructure in those locations, it is still recommended that you submit a map request to SCE.
Step 2: Request Review
Upon receipt, SCE personnel will review your request. If additional information is needed or a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required, you will be contacted before the request can be processed. Requests requiring an NDA may take longer to fulfill.
Step 3: Map Preparation and Delivery
After submitting your request, you will receive an automated email confirmation that includes your request ID. Please note that processing times may vary based on workload and are subject to change.
Tip: If you do not receive the confirmation email, check your Spam or Junk folder.
Completed maps will be delivered electronically to the email address provided on the request form via a secure link to the PDF files.
Step 4: Invoicing and Payment
An invoice will be issued approximately two weeks after the maps have been delivered electronically or shipped.
