No, registering in Ariba does not guarantee that you will receive an invitation to bid on SCE projects. Selection of suppliers invited to a Sourcing event is dependent on the category of materials or services needed, timing, and other factors.
Typically, SCE’s Procurement Agents choose to publish a Sourcing event to a group of suppliers that meet the qualification criteria established for the event, and only those suppliers are able to access the Sourcing opportunity.
Please note that after the Sourcing opportunity has closed, access to additional information about the Sourcing opportunity may be limited to those who have responded to the initial solicitation.
If you have questions about whether you are being given appropriate visibility into Sourcing opportunities that you may be qualified to perform, please submit your questions to Aribateam@sce.com.
