Wildfire Assistance
If you are impacted by a recent wildfire and in need of assistance, please visit our Disaster Support page. For timely and accurate wildfire status updates and safety resources, please visit the Assistance Center page.
Our response to COVID-19
We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19, including suspending service disconnections for residential and small business customers for nonpayment and only continuing critical work needed to protect public safety and reduce the risk of wildfires. If you have recently lost your job, even if you are receiving unemployment benefits, you may qualify for a reduced energy rate through our CARE or FERA programs. Prioritizing Critical Work during COVID-19

To support our customers and prevent larger outages from occurring in the future, we’re postponing less urgent upgrades and only performing critical work to address emergency and public safety issues. Our teams are working to reduce the impact of this work as much as possible. Customers impacted by these essential outages will be notified ahead of time.

Preparing for a Critical Maintenance Outage

Keep a Safe Distance from Crew Members

Due to the nature of the work, our crew members are sometimes unable to maintain physical distancing while making repairs and work together as a pod to minimize exposure with other workers. If you see our crew members in your neighborhood, please do not approach them and stay at least 6 feet away for safety. If crew members need to get in touch with you, they will call you or knock on your door. Please be assured that the safety of our workforce, our customers and the public remain our top priority.

  Electronic Equipment

Shut off or disconnect all sensitive electronics before the outage to prevent damage or loss of data.

  Security Gates

Review the instructions for your electric gates and learn how to operate them manually.

  Alarm Systems

Please alert your security company of the outage. The outage will affect your alarm systems and may affect private phone systems.

  Emergency Generators

Business customers may wish to rent a portable generator, but please note that we cannot reimburse you for this cost. If you plan to use a generator, please call 1-888-759-6056 so we can safeguard our employees.
