What is a Premises ID?

• A Premises ID is a special number given by Southern California Edison (SCE) for certain situations, like when an address doesn't have a meter yet. If you don't have a Premises ID, it probably means you don't need one for your situation.
• Your SCE Planner will send an email to you once SCE is ready for you to complete the Start Service request. At this time, only Residential Service addresses without a meter installed can be completed on sce.com
