On the SCE billing statement, the meter number appears in the Usage Summary section, typically shown as “For meter [Meter Number] from [Billing Period]”

  1. Locate the electric meter on the outside of the property, typically:
    • On an exterior wall
    • Near the main electrical panel
  2. Look on the faceplate or body of the meter
  3. Find the meter number, which appears as a series of numbers printed or stamped directly on the meter
