What is a SCE portable battery?

Video Transcript

We all rely heavily on electricity to power our daily lives. So, what happens when the power goes out? Whether the cause is due to a public safety power shut‐off, maintenance or repairs to our electric grid or a natural disaster, it's important that you be prepared and have a plan for what to do during a power outage.

That is why adding an electrical portable power station to your safety kit may be a good decision for you and your family.

An electric portable power station can provide emergency backup power for small devices and household appliances such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets, some internet routers, any many other electronic devices that use a two‐prong electric cord. Also, power stations are typically easy to store and use.

Just follow the directions in the manual to charge your power station so that it's ready to use when you need it. Depending on the size of the portable power station you decide to purchase, you may need to charge it anywhere from two to six hours.

Be sure to read the owner s manual for detailed instructions and safety guidelines prior to operation.

Don't get caught in the dark. Consider, getting a portable power station to help you be more prepared for emergencies.
