How can I sign up for outage alerts?

Important: Beginning in January 2024, SCE will be rolling out a new and improved My Account experience. Customers will be upgraded to the new dashboard based on their account type. Our Help Center articles now provide instructions for both experiences.

Outage and PSPS Alerts for SCE Customers

Find out when an outage of any kind may affect your neighborhood. Go to the Preference Center in My Account and choose to receive alerts by email, text, or voice call.

1. Log In to SCE Account.

2. Scroll to the Settings section towards the bottom of your account dashboard. 

3. Under Alerts & Notifications, click “See All Alerts & Notifications.”

4. Toggle “Emergency Alerts” and “Repair and Maintenance Alerts” to the On position.

Not seeing these options? Your dashboard may not have been updated to the New My Account experience just yet. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Log In to the SCE Account. If you haven’t set up My Account yet, you can register online. 
  2. Navigate to "Preference Center" in the left panel. 
  3. Toggle "Emergency Alerts" and “Repair and Maintenance Alerts” to the On position.

 

 

PSPS Address Alerts for Non-SCE Customers 

These alerts are helpful for residential and commercial tenants who do not maintain their own SCE service accounts, caregivers, frequent travelers, and service providers. You can choose to receive alerts by email, text, and/or voice message. Standard message and data rates apply.
