How do facilities become eligible for the CA Industry Assistance credit?

The process for eligibility depends on your facility.

• MRR facilities: If your facility reports to the California Air Resources Board under the Mandatory Reporting Regulation, then we have all of the information about your facility that we need to confirm your eligibility. The only additional data your facility needs to provide your utility is the appropriate utility account information to allow your utility to identify your facility in their billing system. Facilities with annual direct emissions of 10,000 MTCO2e or greater report under MRR.
• Small business facilities: Facilities with annual direct emissions below 10,000 MTCO2e per year must complete an attestation form to attest to the California Public Utilities Commission that they are eligible to receive CA Industry Assistance¹.
