Community Renewables (CR)
CPUC Decision 15-01-051 allocated SCE 269 MW (249 MW remaining) of Green Tariff Shared Renewables (GTSR) Program capacity. SCE's GTSR Program has two elements:
- The Green Rate option, which allows customers to purchase energy with a greater share of renewables. To date, 20 MW has been signed through RAM 6.
- The CR option, which allows customers to subscribe to renewable energy from community–based projects. The project enters into a Re-MAT PPA with a community renewables-specific rider (called 'GTSR CR Rider and Amendment'). The first Re-MAT Program Period allocation for Community Renewables projects is 5 MW.
