Select the Best Rate for Your Medium Business

If your company uses 20 kW to 500 kW per month, these general service rates are available. A Time-Of-Use (TOU) rate may be the best choice if the majority of your electricity usage occurs outside the peak hours of 12 noon to 6 p.m. on weekdays. For more information about any of these rates, call 1-800-655-4555 to speak with an energy consultant.

Rate Schedules Optimal Choice For

TOU-GS-3
TOU-GS-3-Option R

  • Medium-sized commercial and industrial businesses with electrical equipment registering demands from 200 kW through 500 kW
  • You may benefit from this plan if you can move usage to lower-priced mid- and off-peak hours
  • 24-hour service stations, convenience marts, recreational facilities, churches, restaurants, and motels

TOU-GS-2 - Option A
TOU-GS-2 - Option B
TOU-GS-2 - Option R

  • Small- to medium-sized businesses with demands equal to or greater than 20 kW but  below 200 kW
  • Retailers, service stations, schools, and larger restaurants

TOU-EV-3

  • Those who use most energy during off-peak hours (after 6 p.m.)
  • Those who own and operate electric vehicles for business

TOU-EV-4

  • For businesses that own and operate electric vehicles using chargers with a maximum demand of 500 kW or less
  • You can reduce your charging costs by charging between 9 p.m. and noon
  • This schedule includes demand charges – but they are applied only once: to either the TOU-EV-4 account, or to your normal business account, whichever registers the higher demand

Optional Binding Mandatory Curtailment Program (OBMC)

  • The Optional Binding Mandatory Curtailment program exempts you from rotating outages
  • In exchange, you must make 15% of the load on your entire circuit available for reduction during every rotating outage
  • OBMC Tariff Sheet

Time-of-Use Base Interruptible Program (TOU-BIP)

  • Available to those with monthly demands that reach or exceed 200 kW
  • You must choose a Firm Service Level (FSL) that reflects the minimal amount of electricity you need to ensure you can operate your business during a TOU-BIP event
  • You must also choose a participation option, which is the amount of time (15 or 30 minutes) you need to respond to a TOU-BIP event
  • You must commit to reduce at least 15% of maximum demand but no less than 100 kW during TOU-BIP events
  • TOU-BIP Tariff Sheet

Marinas & Harbors

  • Master-meter customers may sub-meter tenant’s electrical usage of certain boats/vessels moored in an individual slip or berth at the marina or harbor for monthly billing purposes
  • The rates and charges used by the master-meter customer for billing its tenants must not exceed those that would apply if the tenant were purchasing its electricity directly from us

Real Time Pricing (RTP 2)

  • For all businesses

  • You are billed hourly electricity prices that vary based on the time of day, season, and temperature
