Kern River No. 3 Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 2290)

Kern River No. 3 Powerhouse

Virtual Public Open House Oct. 1, 2020 from 3 – 5 p.m.

On Oct. 1, 2020 from 3 – 5 p.m., Southern California Edison Company (SCE) will host a Virtual Public Open House, and invites all interested stakeholders including state and Federal agency representatives, non-governmental organizations, local businesses, Indian tribes, and members of the public to attend. In anticipation of the upcoming relicensing, SCE would like to share information about the FERC regulatory process, the Kern River No. 3 Hydroelectric Project, and how you can actively participate in the process in the coming years. The meeting will be hosted via Microsoft Teams (meeting access information will be provided soon) . Meeting materials will be available for viewing and download before and after the meeting.

During the open house meeting, the public will receive information about project facilities and operations, the relicensing process and the resources that will be studied over the next several years. There will be opportunities to ask questions of project team staff, submit comments and learn about upcoming participation opportunities.
