Your Account Number Changed as Part of Our New Billing System

We recently implemented a new billing system. As part of those system updates, we issued new account numbers to all customers.

When did my account number change?

Your account number(s) changed in the first two weeks of April. You received a new Customer Account Number(s) and Service Account Number(s).

What is my new Customer Account Number?

Your new Customer Account Number now begins with the number 4, 5, 6, or 7, no dashes, and then 11 digits, like this: 400000000000, 500000000000, etc. This number is tied to your billing information and mailing address, and is used to issue statements, payments, debits, and credits. You should reference this number when you call our Customer Support team or make a payment.

What is my new Service Account Number?

Your new Service Account Number now begins with the number 8, no dashes, and then 9 digits, like this: 8000000000. This number is tied to your service address where your meter is and helps us track your usage information and calculations. You’ll need your Service Account Number to apply for SCE rates like CARE, FERA, and Medical Baseline.

Where can I find my account numbers?

Your Customer Account Number(s) and Service Account Number(s) can be found in several locations:

  1. At the top of your printed billing statement
  2. When you log into My Account on the Overview page.
  3. At the top of your digital billing statement
