Southern California Edison (SCE) offers the Building Electrification program to help eligible homeowners and renters electrify their homes by replacing natural gas and propane appliances with high-efficiency electric equipment.
The Benefits of Going Electric
- Save on energy bills: High-efficiency electric appliances are three to five times more efficient than gas models, often lowering your overall energy costs.
- Improve the health and safety of your home: Removing gas appliances can improve the indoor air quality of your home, making it a healthier place for you and your family.
- Better for the environment: Electrification enables your home to use cleaner energy, which can help reduce carbon dioxide emissions and help California meet its clean energy targets.
