Submetering Phase 2 Pilot

The Submetering Phase 2 Pilot started on January 16, 2017 and ends on April 30, 2018. The customer enrollment period ended on April 30, 2017. Once enrolled in the Pilot, you’ll be eligible to participate for up to 12 consecutive billing cycles; however, you may choose to un-enroll at any time. Once you un-enroll or your participation expires, your EV charging usage will be billed along with all other usage at your current rate.

Are You Eligible?

Customers cannot be enrolled in the following programs for the duration of their participation in the Phase 2 Pilot. If a customer is already a participant, the customer can unenroll from the program for just the duration of their participation in the Phase 2 Pilot.

  • Direct Access (DA)
  • Community Aggregation (CA)
  • Save Power Day Incentive Plus (Smart Thermostat)
  • Level Pay Plan (LPP)
  • California Independent System Operator (CAISO) sponsored demand response programs facilitated through Electric Rule 24.

Once enrolled in the Pilot, your Submeter Meter Data Management Agent (MDMA) will collect and transmit your submeter usage data to us for billing. You will retain sole responsibility for paying the entire monthly bill including EV and other charges regardless of any agreement between you and your Submeter MDMA.
