Southern California Edison (SCE) anticipates purchasing a variety of materials and services from qualified suppliers for the Solar Rooftop Program. Our general policy has been to procure equipment, materials, supplies, and services on the basis of competitive bids from multiple qualified sources. We are also committed to promoting opportunities for woman-, minority-, and disabled veteran-owned business enterprises (WMDVBE) to participate in bidding and contracting with SCE.
For the Solar Rooftop Program, we seek to establish mutually beneficial business relationships with key strategic suppliers who can provide superior value, quality, and service to SCE. Specifically, we hope to identify suppliers who are financially viable and have demonstrated solar PV experience with the capacity to meet SCE’s five-year, 250-MW Program. The minimum requirements for our Program are listed below:
- Strong financial backing
- Available production/engineering capacity to supply at least 50 MW per year
- Proven experience: at least 10 MW installed in the last five years
