MASH Handbook

MASH Track 1 Application Process

Applicants can expedite the three-step process and opt into the two-step process; however they are still subject to the requirements based on the three-step process. Please refer to the CSI Handbook.

*Your new solar system will need to be interconnected to SCE's power grid to receive benefits under the CSI program. Get the interconnection application.

Step 1: Reservation Request

Documentation of an Energy Efficiency Audit (or Title 24 documentation, LIEE documentation or other exemptions)
Printout of EPBB Tool Calculation (www.csi-epbb.com)
NOTE: Select "MASH" as the calculation type.
Documentation of California Public Utilities Code 2852 eligibility
Electrical System Sizing Documentation
*NEW* Copy of Signed Energy Efficiency Disclosure Form (PDF)

Step 2: Proof of Project Milestone Claim

Completed Proof of Project Milestone Checklist (.doc)
Copy of executed contract for system purchase and installation
Copy of executed alternative System Ownership agreement (if System Owner is different than Host Customer)
Revised Incentive Calculation Worksheet (If applicable)
Copy of RFP or solicitation

Step 3: Incentive Form Package

*NEW* MASH Complete Incentive Claim Form with Signatures (.xls)/Final Project Cost Affidavit
Copy of PMRS Cost Cap Exemption Documentation (if applicable)
Revised EPBB Calculation Printout (if applicable)
Documentation of Tenant/Common Load Allocation

*NEW* Supporting doumentation to demonstrate direct tenant benefit (NOTE: Track 2 only)

MASH Track 2 Grant Proposal Process

Track 2 grant proposal applications will be accepted starting July 1 through September 30, 2009. Applications must be received (not postmarked) by September 30, 2009. Hand deliveries, faxes or email grant proposal applications will not be accepted.

Winning proposals will be announced in fourth quarter 2009.
