Energy Savings Assistance Program
The Energy Savings Assistance Program helps income-qualified households conserve energy and reduce their electricity costs. SCE pays all the costs of purchasing and installing energy-efficient appliances and equipment, which are free to eligible customers. Learn more in this helpful video.

Who Qualifies for the Energy Savings Assistance Program?
To qualify for the Energy Savings Assistance Program, an SCE customer must:
- Receive electric service through a residential electric meter in SCE's service territory
- Have an active SCE service account, or be sub-metered under a master-meter SCE account
- Meet the program eligibility requirements, including the installation requirements for each service
- Meet the income qualifications listed below
The Energy Savings Assistance Program is available to both homeowners and renters. For renters requesting Energy Savings Assistance Program, the homeowner's written permission must be obtained before services are delivered.

This program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Edison under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.
