Income Qualified Programs - Energy Management Assistance Program
Energy Management Assistance Program
The Energy Management Assistance (EMA) program helps income-qualified households conserve energy and reduce their electricity costs. SCE pays all the costs of purchasing and installing energy-efficient appliances and equipment, which are free to eligible customers.
Who Qualifies for EMA Services?
To qualify for EMA services, an SCE customer must:
- Receive electric service through a residential electric meter in SCE's service territory
- Have an active SCE service account, or be sub-metered under a master-meter SCE account
- Meet the program eligibility requirements, including the installation requirements for each service
- Meet the income qualifications listed below
EMA services are available to both homeowners and renters. For renters requesting EMA services, the homeowner's written permission must be obtained before services are delivered.
