You can support renewable energy and help save the environment when you take advantage of SCE’s rebates on fixed and tracking photovoltaic (solar energy) systems, as part of the California Solar Initiative. In addition, you will play an important part in helping the state move towards a cleaner energy future.
How Much Is the Incentive?Incentives are based upon the size and characteristics of the installation and your customer classification (i.e., an increased incentive level is available to Government and Non-Profit Organizations).

How it Works...To obtain an incentive on a solar energy system, you must complete the following four steps:
- Select a Solar Installer
- Submit an Application
- Install Your System
- Inspecting Your System
- Collect Your Rebate
Training: Introduction to the California Solar Initiative (CSI)
This course is designed for photovoltaic (PV) installers, self-installers, managers and PV owners, and features new and updated information on the CSI program. Learn how to complete the CSI forms, take advantage of rebates on fixed and tracking PV (solar energy) systems, and interconnect to the grid. Other topics include metering, monitoring, shading issues and CSI’s online database.
