Transmission Projects

Working With You

In some cases, infrastructure projects may impact nearby communities and people. Proactively engaging with the public is a critical component of our project planning processes, and we involve interested and affected stakeholders early and continuously throughout each project’s entire lifecycle. From planning through construction, we are committed to open and active communication, to listening to and learning from your feedback, and to discussing how your input influences and affects future infrastructure decisions.

We begin public outreach efforts during the project-planning process, before we file applications with regulatory agencies. It’s part of our effort to minimize effects on communities. The first step is identifying and engaging affected and interested stakeholders such as communities, property owners, businesses, and public officials. From the time an infrastructure project is approved by regulators through the phases of construction and completion, we continue to inform and engage stakeholders.

Our strong working relationships with citizens, organizations and community leaders help us better plan to meet the needs of those who live, work, and play in Southern California.

Public Events

To learn more about capital investment and infrastructure projects and to express concerns, share feedback or ask questions, you are encouraged to participate in our open houses, workshops, and other public events. These events provide opportunities to meet our project team, and allow our team to hear and respond to your concerns. We believe it is important for all interested stakeholders to understand the purposes and intents of infrastructure projects that may affect their communities.
