Express Solutions
Express Solutions offers SCE business customers cash rebates to offset the cost of replacing or upgrading to high-efficiency equipment that can improve their facilities’ energy efficiency.
High-efficiency equipment is key to lowering your energy costs and reducing your energy use. SCE's Express Solutions are designed specifically to help you obtain high-efficiency equipment.

How The Offer Works
SCE business customers can apply for 2012 incentives on the purchase and installation of qualifying high-efficiency equipment that improve the energy efficiency of their businesses in the following areas:
- Lighting
- Air Conditioning
- Food Service Equipment
- Refrigeration
- Agricultural Equipment
Incentives are paid on a first-come, first-serve basis until the Express Solutions program expires or until funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first. Equipment purchased with the intent of resale is not eligible for the incentives.

What You'll Receive
You can choose to have your Express Solutions incentive paid directly to your business in the form of a check or as a credit toward your SCE bill. You may also designate a third-party payee to receive the incentive. The amount of the incentive depends upon the Express Solution(s) installed.
Who Can Participate
Any SCE business (non-residential) customer who pay into the Public Purpose Program (PPP) surcharge on their electric bill, regardless of size or monthly electricity use, can participate in the Express Solutions offering by either submitting the application online or downloading the forms and sending them in.

Easy To Participate
In 2012 customers can participate in Express Solutions in two different ways:
1. After installing a qualified solution:
- Complete your project, then either submit your application online or download the forms and send them in to SCE along with supporting documents including proof of payment (see Sample Invoice), and manufacturers’ specification sheets.
2. Prior to installing a qualifying solution:
- Plan your project, then submit your application online or download the forms and send them in indicating the solution(s) you plan to install.
- Upon receipt of your qualifying application, you will receive an Express Installation Report Form that must be completed and returned to SCE when your project is completed with supporting documents including proof of payment (Sample Invoice), and manufacturers’ specification sheets. (Installation must be completed within 12 months of submitting your application or before the end of the 2010-12 Program Cycle, whichever occurs first.)
Detailed instructions are included with the Incentives Application. Upon receipt of your completed application, SCE will contact you and process your application to authorize your incentive payment. You will be contacted if your application is incomplete or if your project has been randomly chosen for inspection.

This program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Edison under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. This program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is effective until funding is expended or the program is discontinued by the California Public Utilities Commission. This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice.
