Sustainability Center
The Sustainability Center is a state-of-the-art conference room that focuses on SCE's commitment to saving the environment, by using the latest in sustainable materials, such as low-VOC paint and energy efficient technologies. It is used for conferences, as a class-room, and a meeting hall, providing the back-drop for sustainable discussions and observation.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Showcase Exhibit
This wall displays and highlights the benefits of LEED certification for both new designs and existing structures. The following sustainable materials were used in the construction of this exhibit:
- Sustainable, rapidly-renewable bamboo plywood — certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council
- High efficiency LED lighting (75W total)
- Recyclable aluminum edging
- Low-VOC adhesives
Wildomar Service Center / LEED building presentation:
This multimedia presentation across four HD LCD screens are for customer viewing to learn how Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building measures make for a healthier, more productive, and a more energy efficient workspace. Also featured is SCE's new Wildomar Service Center, recently opened and show-casing Edison's commitment to the environment by being built to LEED Gold certified standards.
