Central Coast

Ventura County and Santa Barbara County share similar characteristics and are often included together in economic forecast projects identified as the Tri-Counties Region, which includes Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties. However, only the south-coast of Santa Barbara County is within Southern California Edison’s service territory. In addition, eastern Ventura County shares similar characteristics with the northwest part of Los Angeles County.

The SCE region consists of 10 incorporated cities within Ventura County, and 3 cities within the south-coast area of Santa Barbara County. Eastern Ventura County has a strong biotech and manufacturing sector.
