Laurel Shockley

Laurel Shockley currently serves as Project Manager for the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Antelope Valley, Central Valley, Owens Valley, Ventura County and San Barbara County in SCE's Economic Development Services group.

Prior to joining Southern California Edison, she was Director of Strategic Location and Expansion Services for KPMG covering the eleven western states. She also served as Director of the California Trade and Commerce Agency's Southern California Regional Office for eleven years, and prior to that time, did economic development for the Santa Fe Railway Company.

Laurel served on the California Employment Training Panel as the governor's appointee from 1997 to 2000. Laurel is currently on the Board of Director's for the California Space Authority, where she has served since its inception. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the California Statewide Certified Development Corporation, The Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance and the Los Angeles County Workforce Investment Board.
