SCE's Refrigeration and Thermal Test Center (RTTC), located in Irwindale, Calif., is an internationally known research and test facility for refrigeration, air-conditioning, cold-storage and other thermal-based technologies.

The RTTC functions as an energy advisor to SCE customers in the areas of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning.  Established in n1996, this state-of-the-art testing facility promotes energy efficient solutions through realistic and impartial laboratory tests.  Technology evaluation results are used to enhance statewide energy efficiency activities and educate SCE customers and key industry members.
