Georgina Escamilla
Georgina Escamilla serves the San Gabriel Valley and Gateway Cities as Project Manager in Southern California Edison's (SCE) Economic and Business Development group. Her focus is on retaining, expanding and attracting manufacturing companies to these regions by offering resources, guidance, and assistance to help customers make better informed decisions. She has been with SCE seven years.
Formerly an Account Executive in SCE's Business Solutions group, Georgina worked with leadership from the small business community, promoting Edison's programs and services for commercial customers. She also functioned as a media spokesperson for the company. In that capacity, she was recognized by local and state elected officials for her work in promoting energy efficiency programs to the Hispanic Community. Georgina's career at SCE began in the Transmission and Distribution Department where she worked on regulatory and legislative issues.
Georgina's work in the greater Los Angeles area spans more than 15 years, including work in the nonprofit sector, prior to joining SCE. She holds a Masters degree in Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, both from the University of Southern California. She is currently a board member of the Los Angeles Local Development Corporation.
Georgina resides in the City of Whittier, with her husband and two children.
