Meg-Ohm Test
Our meg-ohm test indicates if a motor’s winding insulation has degraded. Loss of motor winding insulation causes a motor to operate less efficiently and can lead to complete malfunction.
You can use your meg-ohm test results to prolong your motor’s life by restoring winding insulation before your motor burns out. This allows you to plan motor maintenance activities instead of reacting to emergencies.

Electrical Panel Infrared Inspection and Cleaning
Because this inspection measures temperatures by passing an infrared beam across the panel, it detects problems concealed by insulators and other objects that an ordinary visual inspection can’t find. As part of this service, SCE also cleans out dust, dirt, and other debris that may have accumulated on the panel.
