Products manufactured before April 28, 2008 that qualified for the previous criteria, and do not qualify under the current criteria, may still be labeled with the ENERGY STAR logo and retailers may continue to promote these products as qualified until July 28, 2008. You may find such products in the retail stream.

How It Works
Save energy and money by taking efficiency actions with your refrigerator. And the more you participate, the more energy and money you can save. In addition to lower energy bills, you can qualify to receive rebates for participating in the following programs:
This program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is effective until funding is expended or the program is discontinued by the California Public Utilities Commission. The program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Edison under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Please make sure that the appliance is on our Qualifying Model List.
How to Apply
1. Read the List of Qualifying Products
2. Purchase and install your new product while funding is available
3. Check your receipt to see if you received an instant rebate, if you didn't, move to step 4
4. Complete the rebate application and send the required documentation to SCE as soon as possible
5. You will need a copy of your SCE bill.

As of January 1, 2008, 100% of the rebate funds allocated for the Home Energy Efficiency Rebates (HEER) program is available.
