Industrial Energy Efficiency Program (IEEP)
The Industrial Energy Efficiency Program combines industrial energy expertise with incentives to help SCE industrial customers save energy, money and the environment. Your business can receive substantial cash incentives for process modifications and equipment retrofits which result in electrical energy savings. The amount of the incentive is tied directly to the amount of energy saved and can be quite significant for many customers.
How it Works
SCE has assembled a team of industry and technology experts (IEEP contractors) to assist you in meeting your electrical efficiency needs. These energy professionals will:
- Evaluate and identify energy efficiency opportunities
- Prepare customized Energy Analysis Reports outlining project energy savings to obtain maximum program value
- Facilitate the movement of the project through the IEEP process including coordinating the monetary incentives for capital improvements
- Assist with project installation
- Prepare all needed program paperwork and arrange for financial incentive after project completion

What You’ll Receive
Incentive payments are determined by the amount of annual kilowatt-hour savings through process improvements or equipment retrofits. Incentive rates are shown below:

Industrial Energy Efficiency incentives are paid directly to your business or a third-party payee designated by you. Incentives are available for a limited time on a first-come, first-served basis.
Who Can Participate
IEEP is open to any SCE industrial business customer that can derive energy savings from any project involving permanent process modifications and/or replacement of existing equipment with high-efficiency equipment.
New construction, electrical generation, fuel switching, maintenance, behavioral changes, and equipment not permanently install are not eligible.

This program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Edison under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. This program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is effective until funding is exhausted. This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice.
