What Will I Need To Enroll?

Once you have successfully registered your My Account UserID and Password, you can enroll in online services. To enroll, you will need to provide your SCE Customer Account number. This number is located on the top right corner of your monthly bill statement (Do not use your "Service Account number" on the left side of your bill). The Customer Account number not only identifies you as an SCE customer, it helps us associate your User ID with all other customer accounts you may have with SCE.

Note to some SCE Large Business Customers
Please note: to ensure security of account information, some of our larger business customers and Energy Service Providers must work with their SCE representative to enroll in our online services. The enrollment screen will advise you when this is required.

For all other customers, after entering your SCE Customer Account number, you will be asked to enter the last four (4) digits of either your Social Security Number (SSN), or Federal Tax ID number. You will then have the option to receive e-mail notifications about new SCE products and services.

If the SSN or Tax ID information is not entered correctly or does not match our system information, you will receive a message indicating that a "Secure Access Code" will be sent to your customer mailing address. You will need this code in order to continue the enrollment process. When you receive your code in the mail, simply sign on to the My Account system and select the "pending" enrollment service from the My Account Homepage. You will be prompted to enter the code number and complete your enrollment.

Accessing Multiple SCE Customer Accounts
When you enroll in SCE's Online Billing, Direct Payment, and Online Payment services, you will be provided with a list of your SCE Customer Accounts that you are eligible to enroll. You can then select which accounts you want to enroll in each service. You are not required to enroll each service account in an SCE online product or service.

The enrollment screen will advise you if an account is not eligible for enrollment in a certain product or service. SCE allows only one user at a time to access each individual customer account number, for Online Billing, and Online Payment or Direct Payment. This means that only one online user can view the online statement,or pay the bill online at the same time. For more information on eligibility, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions section accessible from the enrollment screen.

Direct Payment and Online Payment
For Direct Payment and Online Payment services, you will need to enter your Bank's 9-digit ABA Routing Number and a valid Checking Account Number to complete your enrollment. In order to complete your enrollment, you must agree to the Terms and Conditions for conducting business online with SCE.
