At Southern California Edison (SCE), we value the diversity of our employees at all levels of the organization. Leadership Grant Program

The Leadership Grant Program provides financial assistance to selected employees who are master's degree candidates.

Frontline Leadership Program

This program is for non-supervisory employees who are seeking to advance toward leadership roles in the company. This program helps employees develop essential leadership attributes by focusing on the following skills:
  • Self-management
  • Self-motivation
  • Critical thinking
  • Team development and leadership
  • Change championing

Management Certification Program

The Management Certification Program helps managers and supervisors develop skills and techniques to more effectively manage employees and improve business results.

It provides an interactive curriculum designed to address core management principles and promote a common management methodology. The program stresses leadership, management responsibilities, communication and business acumen.

Participants learn about personal leadership style, strategic planning, financial analysis, legal compliance, diversity, building a safety culture, influencing others and SCE's performance-based compensation system.

Future Leaders Program

The Future Leaders Program is an experiential development program that prepares high-potential individual contributors and supervisors for advancement into entry-level management positions and subsequent leadership roles.  The program involves a combination of audit assignments across multiple business units within SCE and EMG, leadership and management workshops, interaction and visibility with senior executives, mentoring, and a six-month leadership assignment.  The program provides the opportunity to build broad business knowledge and leadership/management skills while addressing critical issues facing the company.
