Mission Statement

The mission of Edison Roundtable is to assist the women of Southern California Edison in their professional and personal growth and development by mentoring and focusing on opportunities for advancement in the workplace, celebrating the contributions of women, addressing issues that are of concern to women and providing an information network for sharing ideas and experiences.

Objectives

The Edison Roundtable brings together women from all Southern California Edison business units to forge strong personal networks and assist women in advancing within their chosen fields and enhancing their personal lives. We do this in several ways:

• Providing an intellectually stimulating forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas
• Sharing best practices to create more productive environments for women across the company
• Providing a supportive work environment for learning, risk taking, individual growth and development
• Participating in community service activities that focus on creating more opportunities for women to acquire the education and tools they need to enhance their personal and professional lives
