How you qualify

  • Be an SCE customer
  • Have the appliance at your SCE business address

Which appliances qualify

  • Must be in working condition
  • Be 10–27 cubic feet
  • Only consumer models are eligible (not commercial or industrial models)

How It works

  • Appliance is taken to a recycling center
  • You’ll receive a $50 check for refrigerators,
    or a $50 check for freezers.
  • You’ll save up to $292 annually on your energy bill

 

And the legal stuff...

This program is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is effective until funding is expended or the program is discontinued by the California Public Utilities Commission. The program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Edison under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.
