Southern California Lighting Technology Center (SCLTC)
Southern California Edison hosts the SCLTC, a joint partnership with the California Lighting Technology Center in Davis. At the Southern California center, lighting manufacturers, lighting designers and researchers can conduct technology demonstrations, development, outreach and educational activities.
The SCLTC's mission is to foster the application of energy-efficient lighting and daylighting in partnership with the lighting industry, lighting professionals and the design engineering community.
The center carries out this mission through state-of-the-art lighting and daylighting applications, development and testing facilities, and lighting efficiency training and educational programs.
As a technology assessment and education center, the SCLTC helps establish key market connections by providing lighting design practitioners with opportunities for hands-on learning about lighting technologies and design approaches.
