Public Outreach
Public outreach and communications are critical elements of SCE’s planning process. SCE hosted an open house on March 10, 2009 at the Primm Valley Conference Center in Primm, Nevada to provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions and give comments to the project team. Storyboards were also available for viewing. Invitations to the open house were mailed to property owners near the proposed project, local government officials, and other interested parties. The open house was also advertised in local newspapers and on the project website. In addition, SCE plans to meet with local governments and community stakeholders about the project.
